Worship at Faith Lutheran
Sunday Worship
Each Sunday morning at 9:00 we gather for worship. We follow the Evagelical Lutheran Worship (ELW) and With One
Voice (WOV) hymnals for Sunday services. Hymns are chosen from both hymnals, and the accompaniment is varied, using both piano and organ. Worship is enhanced by the Choir and instrumentals.
Holy Communion is celebrated weekly. We serve by Intinction, the Eucharistic practice of partly dipping the consecrated bread, or host, Into the consecrated wine or grape juice before consumption by the Communicant. Those who believe and are baptized are invited to receive Holy Communion.
Other worship services are held regularly throughout the course of the year.
Lent begins with Ash Wednesday worship, and continues with Mid-week Lenten services. Both Maundy Thursday and Good Friday worship are also offered.
Christmas Eve Worship is celebrated on December 24th at 7:00 pm.
